Let’s make it happen together. Your support can help us find solutions to resolve the Northern Triangle’s plight. The immediate need is to help the thousands of unaccompanied minors that have immigrated to the U.S.
We are currently partnering with the Human and Health Service Child Migrant Center (HHS) to help support their work to temporarily house and quickly reconnect unaccompanied minors who have arrived at our southern border. Change starts here.
The immediate needs are basic living necessities for the unaccompanied minors as well as relocation support if minors turn 18 and age out. The majority of youth at the Office of Refugee Resettlement’s 289 facilities/programs are teenagers. The goal is to get them relocated before they reach 18 years of age. If they age out, the effort becomes focused on providing travel assistance back to their country of origin. As we receive updated requests from the sites, we will update the needs.
